Banks Media is a husband-and-wife team based in Waco. Evan has been behind the decks since 2018 — resident DJ at some of Waco's best-known bars and nine years of weddings, tailgates, and parties. Tori runs the business side, so from your first message to your final balance, you're talking to the people who'll actually be there on your day.

Hey there! My name is Evan and I appreciate you considering me for your DJ needs!
I started DJ-ing in 2018 as a hobby and quickly realized it was something I had a passion for. Shortly after, I began DJ-ing at several bars in the Waco area such as Freight Icehouse & Yardbar, The Backyard Bar & Grill, 5ive Nightclub, Waco Hippodrome and Scruffy Murphy's, which led me to broaden my horizons to event DJ-ing.
I am a resident DJ at Backyard & Freight Icehouse & Yardbar which was recently voted best college bar at Baylor. I have serviced weddings, corporate parties, reunions, birthday parties etc. and take pride in contributing to making lifelong memories for my clients. With 9 years experience, a knack for reading the crowd and a diverse repertoire spanning genres and eras, you can be sure your event will be unforgettable.

Hi, I’m Tori! While Evan brings the music and energy, I take care of client communication and all the little details that help make your experience with Banks Media seamless and enjoyable from the first conversation to the last song!
One of my favorite parts of what we do is getting to know our couples, hearing their vision for their big day, and helping bring it to life. From DJ services to dance floors and photo booths, we love creating an atmosphere where everyone can celebrate, have fun, and make memories that last a lifetime.

We built Banks Media the way we’d want to be treated as a couple planning our own wedding: one team, no runaround. When you message us, Tori answers. When you book, she’s the one keeping your timeline, your contract, and your vendors on the same page. And when the doors open on your wedding day, Evan is the one on the mic making sure every moment lands — the ceremony, the toasts, the first dance, and a floor that stays packed until the last song. Evan did amazing as our wedding DJ! Was so easy to work with for set up the day before, timing of all the entrances and dances was perfect, and he spoke well when needed or for announcements. Evan does an amazing job! He hosted a tailgate/football party for me and was able to tie right in to my setup and had all the best music to cut in and play during touchdowns, commercials and halftime. Everyone enjoyed it! Great selection of music and had all the extras… fog machine, lighting etc. TOP NOTCH! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Plays the best music, the way he was able to adapt the music in between tailgating and dancing was on point! We were all on feet and it was a chilly night to say the least! He took requests and played quite the range, we are hiring him for another party!
Man shout out to Banks Media, a family friend had hired him to DJ for the A&M and UT game the other night, at his house. During commercials and halftime we listened to some bangers!!! Def a DJ to hit up when you have a company, private or public event. He hits all genres and is cool people all around!

Contract
An initial retainer of 30% of the contracted total ({{retainerLabel}}) and a signed contract must be secured prior to any services being performed by Vendor.

Includes all services described in selected package details reviewed and distributed to clients. Any additional services/products requested by the client incurred by vendor will be billed directly to client at cost. All services contracted cannot be deducted, but additional services can be added.
For your convenience, payments to Vendor can be made online through this proposal.
Travel within 30 miles of Vendor's home base in Waco is included. Events beyond 30 miles carry a travel fee based on distance, shown on the invoice. Events more than 100 miles away also include one night of lodging, quoted and approved by Client in advance. If setup the day before the event is requested at a venue more than 60 miles away, a second trip may be added, also quoted and approved in advance.
Current event date is valid 1-month post origination date to secure services.
All documentation created and provided to client is owned and copy written by Vendor and cannot be used or given to any other 3rd party.
It is understood that Vendor is only liable for services completed and provided by Vendor and cannot be held liable for the services of other contracted vendors. It is understood that in no event shall Vendor be liable for consequential damages of any kind.
If the event is canceled, fees paid to Vendor are non-refundable except as described under Emergencies below. If the event is canceled less than 1 month before the event date, the remaining balance will be required to compensate for hours of service already rendered and loss of the event date. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if available (see Postponement Policy).
If event is postponed, all services will cease at time of notification of postponement if no determined new date is provided. Payment schedule will be determined and readjusted post new event date notification. If client requires services to resume, post new event date being established, second payment will be required at time of service re-start.
Life happens. If Client must cancel or postpone because of a serious emergency — a death in the immediate family, a medical emergency, pregnancy or childbirth, or military deployment — Client should notify Vendor as soon as possible. In these situations Vendor may, at Vendor's discretion, refund some or all payments made or apply them to a new date. This is decided case by case and does not change the Cancellation Policy for other circumstances.
Vendor is not responsible for circumstances outside Vendor's control, including acts of God, natural disasters, a government declaration of emergency, accident, illness, or a death in Vendor's family. If Vendor cannot perform for one of these reasons, Vendor will, with Client's approval, arrange a qualified professional replacement to fulfill this agreement at no additional charge to Client.
Client agrees to exercise all due care in caring for, and preserving the property of Vendor. Clients shall remain responsible for all loss or damage to rentals, up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item per cost.
For your convenience, payments can be made online using a valid credit card. Otherwise, payment is to be made by cash or check.
{{retainerLabel}} initial retainer due upon completion of the signed agreement for services. Remaining balance is due 14 days before event date, {{balanceDueDisplay}}.
If legal action is necessary to enforce the terms of this contract the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees in additional to any other remedies to which that party might be legally entitled.
